Query: I am looking for ANY information (Census records, birth records and even legendary tales) on these persons who lived in the Mountain Home-Gassville area. They are John Calhoun Napier, b. 7/20/1882 in Mountain Home....Annie Viola Napier b. 2/28/1886 in Gassville...James (Jim) Napier or John J.?? A traveling musician (fiddler) who was father to the two listed above. He was married to Nancy Pryor (or Prior). No birthdate is currently known but he died from pneumonia around 1885 or 1886, due to traveling on horseback in a snowstorm. Sometime after or during his death, this Napier family moved to Ozark county in the thriving town of Elijah, MO. I believe that he may of been a descendant of either Ashford Napier Jr. or Cyrus Napier. Any help is GREATLY APPRECIATED! ;-)

Query: Searching for parents or siblings of William B. DAVIS, b. 1857 in Tennessee, both of his parents born in KENTUCKY. He married Minerva WEAVER, daughter of Gideon WEAVER. Oldest child is Cassie Ola Davis, born in Huntsville, Ark., Jan. 12, 1881. William "Bill" and Minerva DAVIS are in the 1900 census, showing place of residence as Independence township, Baxter Co. William must have died, for Minerva married L.E. (Labon Epps TUCKER) between 1916 and 1922 and ended up in Sallisaw, OK. She is buried as Manerva Davis. Daughter of William and Manerva, Cassie Ola Davis, married Harvey Jackson Stafford on May 21, 1898, Independence township. Manerva's parents are Gideon WEAVER, and Katie PAUPLIN. (Katie Pauplin's father is Anninias PAUPLIN). Maybe a long lost cousin can help with other family names to connect the DAVIS line back another generation.
Thank You
Sondra
