A. J. Hand is buried in HAND cemetary.
Norfork Dam flooded what was Hand, Ar. There was a store, post office and school with the
same name. G. Hardy Hand was his son and my grandfather. Hardy married Minnie RUSSELL. She had a brother named frank and
her fathers name was Thomas. I was born in the Hand Cove area and am trying to trace my
roots. Any help would be great. RUSSELLS lived in Mountain Home.

Query: Seeking information on Vance Johnson & Norah "Nora" Martin. They married May 9, 1924 at Norfork,
Baxter Co., AR. In June of 1952 Mrs. Nora Johnson
came from Harrisonville, MO for her mothers funeral. Norah Elizabeth Martin was born in
1899 in Mountain Home, Baxter Co., AR. to the parents of Donnie Thrasher/Martin and George
Martin. Nora had one brother, Sidney "Sid" Marcus Martin and several half
brothers and sisters. Nora may have lived for a while with a son in Kansas City, KS. Can

Query: Looking for information on Mrs. MALINDA (maiden name EASLEY) MARTIN. She was born Feb. 21, 1844 and died Oct. 19, 1920. Her four sons were: Tom, France, George, and Jim Martin. She had one daughter Mrs. Ella Thorn. A sixth child was dead by the 1880 census. Malinda a native of AR married Bradford Martin. She is buried in the Mountain Home Cemetery. Her death certificate list Judge Easley as her father. Death Certificate informant: F.M. Martin, her son.

Query: My grandfather, Willam Earskin Roberts was born Oct. 1883 in Mountain Home. His mother was
Sarah Elizabeth Roberts, born Abt. 1859 in either Alabama or Tennessee. I don't know
anything about William's father. Sarah married Charles W. Merriman on 31 July 1892. They had two children, James E.
Merriman who took his life on 9 Apr 1912, and Julia May born Aug 1894 who married Albert
V. Bonham. They had four children;
Mable, B. 1905; Albert V., B. abt 1912; Paul, B. 8 Oct 1915; and Rollins, B. abt 1924. I
