SLAGLEY / SMITH
Searching for infor in particular on James SMITH. The only family info on James is he was a strict preacher. I am presuming, hoping, I will locate even a beginning point on James in Boone Co. AR...reason being...his daughter, Jane Mary "Janie" married Henry Slagley of Boone Co.AR. Henry and Janie had Haskell and Jatta (my grandmother). Henry and their son Haskell had worked a Zinc mine in the Lead Hill area. A Mr. J. Orr, of Berryville, so far has graciously given me the only info I have on the Slagley line. However, my Smith side has been a dead end, so any help on James Smith would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance
