James Wiley Adams, born on October 30, 1845 in AL, was about seven years old when arriving in Bradley County, AR with his mother, Mary E. (maiden name unknown) and stepfather, Reubin Owens. At the time of Mary Jane's marriage to James Wiley Adams, she and her Kemp family were residents of Bradley County. James Wiley and Mary Jane relocated to Miller County, AR in the late 1800's. James died July 25, 1933 in Miller County, and Mary Jane died May 8, 1916 in Miller County. Both are buried in the Rocky Mound Cemetery near Fouke, AR.
