Minerva E. Hayes Davidson

Minerva was born December 18, 1867 in Georgia, a daughter of George Franklin Hayes and Margaret-Mary Jane Gillis also from Georgia.

Minerva was the wife of Wesley Camp Davidson, Jr. from Alabama, and the mother of their twelve children:

Mary Susan Davidson Ezell
Margette Matilda Jane Davidson Sled
William Barney Davidson
Sallie Annis Davidson Myres
Emma Idella "Della" Davidson Miller Loomis Cox
Robert Lee Davidson
James "Jim" Henry Davidson
John Thomas "Tom" Davidson
and three children who died young:
Martha Elizabeth "Lizzie" Davidson
Richard Green Davidson
and Lucinda "Lucy" C. Davidson.

Minerva died June 23, 1953. She and Wesley are buried in Garrison Cemetery in Banks, Bradley County, Arkansas, as are some of their children.
