Mrs. Pauline Calbert Obituary



MRS. PAULINE CALBERT (1920-1994)

Mrs. Pauline Clay Calbert, 73, well-known Warren citizen, died at the hospital here Feb. 26 following a short illness.

She was a native of Indianola, Miss., where she was born in late March of 1920. She retired from work at a the hospital here in February of 1982. She was married to Leroy Calbert, who pre-deceased her.

She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Mary Thomas of Richmond, California; a daughter, Ms. Kathryn Bell of Chicago; three sons, Herbert Dale Moore and James Calvert of Rockford, Ill., and Joe and Kenneth Calbert of Warren; 25 grandchildren and various other relatives.

Funeral was Thursday afternoon at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church on Beaver Street with the Rev. S. T. Warner giving the eulogy. Others taking part were Doris Marshal, Frances Caldwell, Craig Moore, Sharon Moore, and Jimmie S. Wade. who provided a solo.

Pall bearers were Larry Atkins, Larry Smith, Freddie Hampton, Ronnie Henderson, Carl Ferrell, and Dewayne Tenner. Frazer's Funeral Home was in charge.
