Maggie Howard

Maggie Eathel Howard, age 83, of Warren (formerly of El Dorado), died Tuesday, September 3, 2002, at Bradley County Medical Center.

Born May 24, 1919, in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Leroy Howard and Katie Dell Williams Howard.

She was a homemaker, member of Murmil Heights Baptist Church in El Dorado, and the widow of George Wesley “Soap” Howard, who died February 1, 2001. They were united in marriage April 27, 1946.

Survivors include one sister, Lottie Barnes of Warren and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Ray Howard, and a sister, Mary Margarett Forrester.

Funeral services were Thursday, September 5, at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist and soloist was Gwyn Thornton. Burial was in Moseley Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers were Kevin Howard, Keldon Howard, Chris Howard, Steven Howard, Paul Pierieni, Matthew Boyd and Eric Boyd.
