Obituary:
J. T. Wear, age 91, of Warren, AR., died Sunday January 20, at Wagnon Place Nursing Home.

Born December 5, 1916 in Bradley County, AR., a son of the late William Newton Wear and Ida Baker Wear, he was a retired lumber grader for Potlatch Corporation, member Immanuel Baptist Church and the widower of Mary Ruth Turner Wear who died June 2, 1990. Also, preceding him in death was a brother Clyde Wear, sisters Floy Steadman and Lummy Bartram. There are no immediate survivors.

Funeral services 10:00 a.m. Wednesday January 23, Frazer's Chapel. Burial Hickory Springs Cemetery near Hermitage, AR., by Frazer's Funeral Home. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Tuesday January 22, at Frazer's. Online guestbook www.frazerfuneralhome.com






Mary Ruth Turner Wear - Mrs. J. T. Wear

Mary Ruth Turner Wear Obituary Mrs. Mary Ruth Wear, age 68 of Route 1, Box 405, #21 Southern Court, Warren, died Saturday, June 2, (1990) at her home. Born July 16, 1921 in Bradley County, she was a daughter of the late Hiram G. and Mattie Mae Guest Turner. She was a housewife and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.


Survivors are her husband, J. T. Wear; 2 brothers, Thomas Turner of Bedford, Tex. and Gaston Turner of Sunset, Tex.; 1 sister, Maxine Howard of Warren and several nieces and nephews.


Funeral services were held Monday, June 4 (1990) at 2:00 p.m. at Frazer's Funeral Home with Rev. Olin Greenwood and Rev. Frank Worley officiating.


Burial was in Hickory Springs Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren. Janice Sullivan was organist and Bob Haygood was soloist.


Active pallbearers were Billy Ray Howard, David howard, Jack Harrington, Wayne Griffin, Derwood Reep and William "Bud" Casanover.


Honorary pallbearers were Randy Boyd, Dr. Kerry Pennington, Jack Cornelius, Clarence Sharp, Paul Beachboard, Russell Gatlin, Jimmy Reep, Lloyd Adams, Gordon Bryant and Elmer Owens.
