Will of Elisha Gunn


State of Arkansas
County of Bradley

I, Elisha Gunn, do solemnly swear that James Overton signed the writing opened and exhibited
to me and read in  my presence and hearing by W. Y. McCammon, Clerk of the Circuit Court and
Exofficio Clerk of the Probate Court in and for the county of Bradley aforesaid on this the
3rd day of November A. D. 1860. The said James Overton signed the writing aforesaid as his
last will and testament and I further swear that he was of sound mind, and that I signed my
name thereto in the presence of the testator and at his request.

Be it remembered that on the 3rd day of November A. D. 1860 the annexed and 
foregoing instrument of writing was delivered to me under Seal by Elisha Gunn which I opened
and read in his presence and hearing who being by me sworn according to law subscribed his
name to the affidavit, and on the 8th day of the same month M. T. McGhee appeared before me
and after hearing the contents of the will hereto annexed, sworn to and subscribed the 
preceding affidavit hereto annexed. I being satisfied with the proof of said will ordered
the same of record.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand as such Clerk and affixed the
seal of said Court at office this the 8th day of Nov. A. D. 1860.

I, W. Y. McCammon, Clerk of the Circuit Court and Exofficio Recorder within and for said 
County of Bradley do hereby certify that the annexed and foregoing instrument is duly 
recorded in Record Book for wills and testaments on pages 1 & 2.

In testamony whereof I have hereunto set my hand as such Clerk and affixed the 
seal of said Court at office this the 24th day of November A. D. 1860.
