GRAVESITE OF LAMIZER J. MITCHELL
This headstone and other markers are located on private property. There are about 12 or 13
other markers & rocks but none are readable. I have been told that there may be a hundred
graves at this location,that many died during a flu epidemic.This is all hearsay, I have no
proof of this.
From Gurdon, Arkansas take highway 67 north About 3 miles. Turn right on Smithton Rd. and go
about 1 1/2 miles and cross the railroad tracks, Turn left  on Gilbert Rd. and go to the end
of the road. There is a house there. The headstone and other markers are in a field on this
