SANDY COMMUNITY CEMETERY
(Black)
From I-30 take exit 63, then go south towards Gurdon on Highway 53. Go Approx. 3.5 miles till you reach the
railroad crossing. Turn right on road right before the railroad crossing. This is a narrow overgrown dirt road.
Go out this road about .4 mile until road deadends. Look to your left across the railroad tracks and the
cemetery is visible and you can walk to it. There are seven concrete markers with no names and 4 metal markers
with the information gone. Survey done Feb. 2005 by Shirley & Don Cagle
