"No business enterprise could ask for a more faithful, dedicated worker than Miss Marylea Vines.  A familiar sight to Courier readers during her 29 years of service, she has shouldered increasing areas of responsibility and is in charge of the photography and typesetting department, as well as editing The Courier.  She willingly assumed the Herculean [sic] task of compiling and coordinating the information from Courier files and the writings of "Mr. Jim."  Without these efforts an important segment of Corning's history might never have been recorded for future generations."
