"Charlie Robinson, owner of the livery stable where he is posed horseback, was in a militant mood at the moment.  G. B. Oliver, mayor, had induced the City Dads to declare the Livery Stable a nuisance and condemn the place.  The property was on West Second Street, present site of The Courier.  The mayor got the job done and sometime between 1915 and 1920 this relic of the pioneer days faded from sight."
