Clay County Genealogical and Historical Society meets monthly on the 4th Sunday of each month except December. There is no meeting in December.

The Society has completed the 1920
Federal Census of Clay County, Arkansas. We have a few 1920 Federal
Census of Clay Co., AR left. It is in book form, soft bound 8 1/2 x 11,
522 pages with over 2800 surnames. The price has been reduced to $10 if
picked up at a library in Clay Co. AR, $15 if mailed. This price is good
while supplies last.
We will have a booth at the Clay Co. Fair in Piggott, AR this year 2007.
It will be in the commercial building. It is across the road from the fair
kitchen. The fair runs from September 10 through 15th. Our booth
will be open
Wednesday 12th, Thursday 13th, Friday 14th, and Saturday 15th from 11:00 a.m. to
8:00 p.m. Come by and visit with us and sign up for a prize to be given
away each night. About 7:45 each night we will have a drawing to determine
the winner. There will be a grand prize on Saturday night.
The membership year is from January 1 -
December 31.
Members joining late in the year will receive the back issues of the quarterly
newsletter for the current year.
Members are entitled to two free queries each year.
