Carrie Quinn

The hearts of our people went out Monday in sympathy for Mr. and Mrs. R.E. Quinn, of Pine Bluff, when the sad news of the death of little Carrie was received.  She died at the home of her parents in Pine Bluff, Sunday evening, Oct. 29, 1899, after an illness of about three months.  She was 5 years 5 months and 12 days old.  Little Carrie was a bright, sweet little girl, and being the only child, was the idol of her parents.  Her remains were brought here for internment, and were Tuesday morning laid to rest in the presence of a large circle of friends and relatives.  Rev. S.P. Davis preached the funeral at the grave. We join with the many friends in extending sympathy to the sorrowing relatives.
