OTHER IMPORTANT NOTATIONS:

These notations are made in case needed in research.  Unusual names have 

the statement "spelling was as shown" after the information.  This spelling 

was as the headstone actually read. 

This cemetery listing was presented in alphabetical order and reference 

to these notes would have been lost in that order of presentation.  

Location is as follows:



1.  Facing the headstone of James Doyle Dyer and looking to the left side 

are two graves with metal temporary markers, completely unreadable.

 

2.  Grave next to Annie McClain, notation reads "Daughter of R.B. McClain



3.  Two white jasper bases with missing headstones are located between 

Willie H. Campbell and Jimmy W. Campbell's graves.



4.  Two sandstone colored bricks marked with the initials C.S. are located 

next to the grave of Ruby L. Sanders.  These could be claim markers and 

there are no graves there, just reserved markers for other family members.



5.  W.H. & Levia & Johnny Huddleston are all listed on one large headstone.   

This grave site has a marble urn on square base on each side of the large 

headstone in the center.  This  pattern and breadth of the setting probably 

has all three graves in a row encompassed in this area.  Looks very nice, 

and I was wishing I had some flowers for the urns.



6.  J.C. Huddleston & T.P. Huddleston share a headstone.  This headstone 

is tall and ornate with two large ovals noting these names.  Quote on 

headstone "Deprived of Life".  I took a picture of this headstone because 

it was so unusual.



7.  Beside the graves on the left of J.C. & T.P. Huddleston are two field 

stones protruding marking graves.



8.  Junior Thompson's grave is right next to Lizzie McKinzie Thompson and 

Herbert L. Thompson.

Just as a guess, this is probably their son with the same name as his 

father.



9.  Beside the grave of J.H. Sanders are two large pieces of petrified 

wood about 24 to 30 inches long, laying on their sides.  These are 

probably marking other graves.



10.  Beside the grave of Rubin Reaves are two field stones protruding 

marking graves.



11.  Military marker of John Franklin Thompson has dates noted as 9-4-1920 

to 12-5-1945.  I am assuming that the 12-5-1945 is his service date instead 

of a death date usually marked after a birth date.



12.  Beside H.O. Thompson's grave are three polished top marble markers 

about 5 x 12 inches.  No name or notations.  Could be marking graves or 

marking reserved spaces.



13.  One marker with the names of Edna, Ellen & Jack M. McClellan is in 

the center with a stone on each side about 5 x 10 inches, one has the 

initials JMM and the other has the initials EM  These were twin girl 

babies and a boy baby.



14.  Military marker for Clifton A. Weaver spells his name as "Cliffton A."  

We are assuming the family headstone as "Clifton A." is the correct spelling.



15.  H.E. Thompson's grave is in the middle of all the Brown's listed.  

Could be significant for those researching this line.



16.  Minnie L. Harrison Garner's headstone actually reads without the 

Garner as her last name, only showning Harrison  with the notation "Wife 

of H.E. Garner".  

 

17.  James H. McClellan is buried between his two wives, Lillian G. and 

Luddle Dyer McClellan.



18.  Faye McClellan - Assuming this is a McClellan.  This small stone is 

beside Donald Rene McClellan's grave with just the name "Faye" on it, 

no dates.



19.  Clarence V. Thompson's headstone has Masonic emblem.



20.  Hazel, James, Poline Thompson have homemade concrete markers.  They 

are flat markers and very worn.



21.  Senea Reaves Clary's headstone reads as stated.  Senea was the wife 

of Rubin Reaves. However, by the way the headstone reads it is hard to 

tell if her maiden name is Clary or if she married another other than 

Rubin.
