RUBY B. (MITCHELL) BURCHETT

Ruby B. "Cricket" Mitchell Burchett, age 64, of New Edinburg, died Friday, June 17, 2005, at her home.
Born June 14, 1941 at Edinburg, Texas, she was a daughter of the late A.J. Mitchell and Ruby Christian Mitchell.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Oak Grove Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. She served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Schwitzer.
Survivors include one brother, Jack Mitchell of Thornton; two sisters, Linda Denton of Fordyce and Marilyn Posey of New Edinburg.
Memorial services were held at Mt. Elba Cemetery at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 20 with Rev. Jimmy Ivy officiating. Burial was in Mt. Elba Cemetery by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
