England, age 68 years, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. William Rodgers near Kedron,
Saturday morning about 10:30 after an illness that had extended over a period of several
weeks. Over a month ago Judge England suffered a severe stroke of paralysis and from this
he never recovered. |
Judge England
was born on a farm near Rison, April 15, 1855. In 1904 he was elected County Judge and
served two terms. The deceased is survived by four children as follows: Mrs. Henry
Rodgers, Kedron; Mrs. J. B. White, Kedron; W. D. England, Kedron, Bert England, Rison.
Three brothers, Sam England of Texas, Andrew England of Oklahoma, and J. E. England of
near Kedron and 16 grand children also survive. |
