Pearl (McCoy) Marks

Pearl McCoy Marks, age 90, of Warrren, died Saturday, March 5, 2005, in the Wagnon Place Nursing Home at Warren.  Born May 31, 1914 at Wilmar, she was a daughter of the late Jeff McCoy and Janie McCoy.  She was a homemaker and a member of St. John A.M.E. Church at Warren. Was was preceded in death by her husband, Napoleon Marks.

Survivors include two granddaughters, Clara Jean Harper of Fordyce and Mailyn A. Beets of Milwauidee, WI; two nieces, Gracey York and Nancy Hampton of Warren; five great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 12, at Marks Funeral Home at Fordyce with Rev. Gail Bryant officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery at New Edinburg by Marks Funeral Home.
