REV. WILLIAM M. COATS

Rev. Coats was born May 28, 1829 in TN. He traveled from Shelby Cty., TN with his father Sanders Coats to Miller twp. He married Anna Elizabeth Ryburn on May 27, 1855. He died Sept. 18, 1897 and is buried in Friendship Cemetery. He served the CSA in Co D., 26th Arkansas Infantry.
