MARIAH MARTIN CURBOW - 1927

| This is a picture of Mariah Martin Curbow in her casket in 1927. This is my Great Grandmother who lost her husband while living in Madison County in 1898 to a tornado in Fort Smith, while he was in town awaiting to appear before the federal court for bootlegging. She then re-married John Curbow, who was 13 years her junior and they moved to Cleveland County in the 19 teens. That was when our Martin's moved to Cleveland County in mass. |
