Virginia Lee (Golden) Saeler

Virgie Lee Golden Saeler, age 80, of Kingsland, died January 4, 2005, in the Sheridan Nursing and Rehab. Born March 17, 1924 at Kingsland, she was a daughter of the late Ed Golden and Lucy Gates Golden. She was retired from the Fordyce Picture Frame with 20 years of service and a member of the Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Jesse Valdo Saeler.

Survivors include one son, Jesse Saeler of Kingsland; one daughter, Vickie Works of COnway; a twin brother, Virgil L. Golden of Kingsland; one sister, Opal Davis of Pine Bluff; five grandhildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 6, in the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lewis Langley officiating. Burial was in Crossroads Cemetery by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
