Special to the Gazette

CAMDEN, July 22 -  At Kedron, a small station on the Cotton Belt Railroad, fifty-four miles above this city, this morning at 8 o'clock, W. M. England, a Justice of the Peace, shot and instantly killed Dan Duncan.  Duncan was shot down in front of his door.  An old grudge had existed between the parties for a long time and it was freshened a few days ago by a quarrel over the ownership of some land.  England ran off after the shooting, and had not been captured up to the last report from Kedron.

PINE BLUFF, July 22 - This morning at Kedron, a small station on the Cotton Belt Railroad below this city, Dan Duncan, a sawmill man, was killed with a load of buckshot, being shot by W. M. England, a merchant of that place.  England and Duncan's son had quarreled about an account on yesterday afternoon, and the old man renewed the dispute this morning, which so angered England that he shot him.  The murderer is now in jail at this place.
