War was declared on April 6, 1917, and the following boys volunteered on April 12th:
Asa Elmore
Lonnie Elmore
Minor Wallace Killgore
Joe Moody
Morgan Smith
They went to France early in the war and served until the Armisitice on
November 1918, but did not return to the United States until late in 1919.
