Searching for information on Simeon DENNIS, b. Feb. 12, 1800, in Hancock
Co., GA; d. Nov. 15, 1889, in Columbia Co., AR. Married on Mar. 3, 1822,
Sarah BALLARD, b. Aug. 17, 1800, in Wilkes Co., GA; d. Nov. 25, 1886, in
Columbia Co., AR. This couple, my ggg grandparents, is buried in Shiloh
Cemetery in Waldo. They came to AR sometime between 1850 and 1860 from
Monroe Co., GA. One of their sons, Joseph DENNIS, is also buried in Shiloh,
and their grandson Berry Dudley DENNIS owned a store in Waldo for a number
of years. Berry's first wife was Martha Gertrude MALONE. Wouldlike to contact
descendants of these grandfathers and grandmothers and share information.

I am looking for any information on the family of Robert W. JAMESON
who was in the 1860 census for Columbia County, a widower, with the following
children: William H., Catherine, Elizabeth, Sarah, Nancy and Robert. The
first 3 were born in Alabama, the last three in Arkansas. This Robert was
supposedly a brother of the William Henry Jameson who was also in Columbia
County. Robert's son, William Henderson married Sarah Amanda Hooks Rushton
about 1869. They moved to Sebastian County in the late 1870s. Who did the
other children marry? Robert married second, Pernecia Sandefer Jan. 1863,
they had two sons, Esau and Marion. What happened to them? Have not found
any of this family in Columbia county after the 1870 census. Would also
like to find any information on Sarah's son from her first marriage. John
Henry Rushton was b. 28 Feb. 1860 his father John Allen Rushton died in
April of 1860. I believe John Henry married Sarah Catchings. Homepage

A. That family would have come from Bienville Parish in LA sometime after

Simmons Harrison PEARCE (1832-1920) m. Susan Cassandra SMITH (1835-1910).
Children: William J. (b. c1864), Lazarus Pearce (1866-1957) and Susan (b.
c1870). Lazarus m. Cora Etta HAMM and had at least one daughter, Faye Pearce
(m. JONES). Lazarus and his family lived with his father in Columbia County,
Arkansas for some years. In Magnolia, the street where Mormon FHC is named
PEARCE. For whom? Would be happy to share all information on Pearce family

Columbia County Query - Searching for information on BEATY family.
Larkin M. BEATY (born about 1822 in S.C.) lived with his wife Jane (nee
GREER) and children, Martha Ellen, Telitha, William, Marbury, John and
Kittie in Columbia Co. from at least 1860 to 1870. In 1860 Larkin BEATY's
father, Thomas BEATY (born about 1780 in S.C.), is also living there. Cannot
locate them in 1880 Arkansas census. Would like information on where family
is living in 1880 and beyond. I am trying to relte this family to a woman
named Charlotte Telitha BEATY who lived in Union Co., Arkansas in 1850
prior to moving on to Van Zandt Co., Texas. Thomas BEATY should have been
her grandfather and Larkin M. BEATY should have been her uncle. Seeking
information on where they came from in South Carolina and whether they

My grandfather was Dock Burton FOSTER b 27 June 1872 in Coloumbia County,
AK m 17 June 1872 to Bessie Oliver GOULD in Linden, Cass Co., TX, d 2 Nov
1941 in Lewisville, Lafayette Co., AK. His father was William Foster married
to ?????MILLS he also had more than one wife. He was called Doc Bill because
he made some-kind of medicine that he went around selling. They also belonged
to the WOODSMAN of the WORLD. Could someone tell me what kind of organisation
this was or is as I can't find anything about it. Any help will be greatly

I'm looking for info about the "Burke" or "Burk" family. Some are buried
in Falcon Cemetary. Reece H. H. Burk is as far back as we've gotten. Born
about 1810 in Georgia but died in Arkansas we think. Many Burkes lived
in Stamps or Buckner.
