Trying to find a record of Robert E. Smith marrying Nancy R. about 1867 in Columbia County, Ark. They are listed in the Columbia County census in 1870. He was 24, she was 22. They were in the part of Columbia County that became part of Nevada County by the 1880 census. They are my gggrandparents. But being smiths makes them tough to track. I thought that if i could find out her maiden name, it might be easier. Anything would help. thanks.

Martha Harris married a man named Hill. He died and she then married a man named Davis. They liven in Emerson. They had a daughter maned Cindy (Lucinda) Davis and then a son, Andrew Joseph (went by name of Joe). He was born in 1867. We have been told that Joe's father died before he was born. Joe left Emerson and came to Texas when he was 18 years old. His sister, Cindy stayed in Emerson and married a man named Rabb. Can anyone help with the names of Martha's parents or the given name of Mr. Davis that she married, or the name of Mr Rabb, who Cindy married? We were told that Cindy had children and her descendents may still live in the Emerson area. Joe Davis was the Grandfather of my husband. Any information would be appreciated. I am looking for a family by the name of Willingham. I found in a book at our local library an article by a man by the name of W.H, (Herschel) Beasley sr.In this article he talked about the History of the Church of Christ in Southwest Ar. It was written in December of 1971. It talks of several Churches of Christ and it mentions some people by name who started these churches. One of them mentioned was a Willingham. I am wondering if there is any one out there who knows where I could more information on this particular Willingham. It says that the list of names were from the early records of the Churches listed. The churches were listed as the Columbia Church of Christ, the Corinth church of Christ. It says that the descendants of these families have built or established Churches of Christ from the Miss River to the Pacific Ocean. I would just like to find the Willinghams I have been looking for, John and Rebecca Willingham and a son by the name of Thomas. Thank you for your time and trouble. I appreciate any help I can get. Thank you again. Jean Johnson
