My gr- grandmother Elizabeth Pernice WATKINS first marriage was to a George A. PRICE. They apprantly resided in either Columbia or Ouachita Co. Arkansas between 1860 & 1877 but I found no census record of them. Recent information indicates two sons of that marriage, Thomas & William Edward, known as Bill Ed. These two boys were b. somewhere between 1860 & 1877 maybe as early as 1859. Anyone have any information on George, Thomas or William Edward? My gr gr grandfather, Andrew Jackson CADDELL (born 5 Nov 1817, Pendleton Dist., SC, raised and married in St. Clair Co., AL and later lived in Tuscaloosa Co., AL) and wife Mary Burchfield with seven children (Burwell Green, Elizabeth I., James Wylie, Andrew Peter, Lewis Tira, Mary Lettisha, and Adam Lafayette) left Tuscaloosa, Alabama during the mid 1850s. They later had three more children - Nancy Ann, Columbia Warren, and Martha Melisha Adaline. He received from the General Land Office 320 acres in the Waldo community. Andrew and his three oldest sons - Burwell Green, James Wylie and Andrew Peter all died during 1862-1863 as a result of the Civil War. After the civil my gr gr grandmother Mary packed up all her remaining family and personals and moved to Hopkins County, TX. Their children married - PHILLIPS, PARNELL, COCHRAN, GIBBONS, KENNEMER, and REED.
