on 26 Oct 1865. Did the two remain in Columbia Co. or did they go to Texas

and wife Evaline LAIRD. Who was John and Evalines parents? Information
about my g. grandmother Rebecca BURCHFIELD who married her first cousin
George Washington BURCHFIELD. Their first child Melvin Hewitt was born
in Ala. Their second child Mary Victoria, third child James M. and their
fourth child, my grandmother Magdalene(Maggie) who was born in Colombia
Co. Ark. Jan. 16, 1974. Maggie married William Jefferson Sorrells in Ark.,
on Jan. 10, 1891, but I am not sure where. Other children, Joseph, Paul,
Euke & Harvey. They moved to the Clark, Hot Springs Co. around Amity
and had land there.

I am researching my DUDNEY family that came over from France and settled
in Dorchester County Maryland. They then settled: North Carolina, South
Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia {Stewart County}, Missouri, Texas, Bossier
Parish Louisiana AND..Magnolia Arkansas in Columbia County. In Magnolia
they were Eli DUDNEY and wife Martha Bennett DUDNEY. They had about 8 children.
