Andrew J. Cathey

FORDYCE -- Andrew John Cathey, 62, of Fordyce died Jan. 14, 2005, in Arkadelphia. He was born April 19, 1942, in Thornton, son of the late Jack and Dean Cathey. He was a long-time employee of Williams Saw Co. in Arkadelphia and a member of First Baptist Church of Fordyce. He served as a Sunday school teacher with Away Ministries at Fordyce Healthcare.

Survivors include: His wife, Mary Lou Cathey; four children, Shawn Morrisett and Debi Cathey of Lebanon, Tenn., Sam Bass of Section, Ala., and James Bass of Little Rock; and four grandchildren.

Funeral was today at First Baptist Church of Fordyce. Burial was in Thornton Cemetery under the direction of Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.

Memorials may be sent to the Stell Family in foreign missions in care of First Baptist Church of Fordyce or Overcomers of Living Word Ministries of Scottsboro, Ala.
