James Dailey

CARTHAGE - James Dailey, 96, of Carthage died Sept. 7, 2005, at Doctor's Hospital in Little Rock. He was born Jan. 19, 1909, at Princeton, son of the late Will and Birter House Dailey. He was a member of Mt. Zion AME Church of Princeton.

Survivors include: One brother, George Dailey of Kansas City, Mo.; five sisters, Victoria Williams of Malvern, Mae Girtha Owens of Sparkman, Alice Crawford of Warren, Sallie Burks of Carthage and Margaret Temple of Little Rock; and two grandchildren.

The funeral was Sunday at Mt. Zion AME Church with Rev. Viola McGowan officiating. Burial was in Henderson Cemetery at Princeton under the direction of Marks Funeral Home of Fordyce.
