James Edward "Jimmy" Stringfellow
1943 - 2006
James Edward “Jimmy” Stringfellow, 62 of Fordyce, died Wednesday,
April 26, 2006. He was born December 17, 1943 in Cleveland County to James
Richard Stringfellow and the late Verda Sue McDade Berg.
He is survived by four sons, Jackie Edward Stringfellow of
Fordyce, Marvin Richard Stringfellow of Kingsland, Timothy
David Stringfellow of Kingsland, and James Edward Stringfellow,
Jr. of Star City; his father, J.R. Stringfellow of Fordyce;
his Step-Father, Orvall Berg of Fordyce; three brothers: Bill
Stringfellow of Fordyce, Marvin “Bubba” Stringfellow
of Fordyce, Tony Stringfellow of Sheridan; three sisters: Judy
King of Fordyce, Frances Gill of Holly Springs, Becky Sims
of Pine Bluff; and several Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel Ray Stringfellow
and Thomas Eugene Stringfellow, and one sister, Beatrice Stringfellow.
Funeral services will be Monday at 10 AM at the Benton Funeral
Home Chapel in Fordyce. Burial at Stoney Point Cemetery. The
family will receive friends from 6 PM until 8 PM Sunday at
