Lola Parthene McCoy Saeler

Lola Parthene McCoy Saeler, 91, of Fordyce, died Monday May 8, 2006 in the Dallas County Medical Center. She was born in Kingsland, Arkansas, on February 1, 1915, Mrs. Saeler was the last remaining sibling of the late Lewis & Alice Puterbaugh McCoy.

She and her husband were owners of several grocery and gas establishments in Sheridan, Warren, & Fordyce. Later on in life Mrs. Saeler worked for Home Health. She was also a member of the Kingsland Assembly of God Church in Kingsland.

She is survived by her two sons, Kenneth Saeler & his wife Eloise of Fordyce, W.G. Saeler & his wife Phyllis of Kingsland; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. Mrs. Saeler was preceded in death by her husband Willie Van Saeler, and a grandson, Larry Saeler.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Thursday May 11, 2006 at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in Camp Springs Cemetery, with the Rev. Lewis Langley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home in Fordyce. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
