Myrtle Estelle Kennedy

Myrtle Estelle (Tate) Kennedy, age 93, of Arkadelphia died Saturday, March 4, 2006, at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. She was born on Jan. 21, 1913, in Dalark, the daughter of the late Jesse and Maggie Kitchens Reynolds. Myrtle was a homemaker and a member of Cullendale First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roland Tate; her second husband, Pete Kennedy, and her daughter Sandra Hardaway. Myrtle is survived by one granddaughter, Rowena Hardaway of Houston, Tex., one sister, Daphne Reynolds Wood, of Arkadelphia and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at Welch Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Burks officiating. Interment will be in Delamar Cemetery. Family hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Memorials may be made to Cullendale First Baptist Church, 277 North Street, Camden, AR 71701. Pallbearers are Leslie Wood, Richard Ayers, Bo Lea, Michael Babb, Damar Motto, Donnie Spears and Steve Lewis. Sign on line guest book or send private condolences at www.welchfh.com.
