Susie Mae Osborne

1916 - 2006
Susie Mae Osborne, 89 of Fordyce, died Thursday, April 20, 2006 in an automobile accident along with her husband Thomas Osborne.

She was born July 11, 1916 in Dickson, TN. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was also a member of Barnett Chapter # 451 Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by four sons, Richard and wife Carolyn of Irving, TX, Norman of Las Vegas, NV, David and wife Linda of Ashdown, AR and Paul and wife Mitzi of De Valls Bluff, AR; two daughters, Waynette and husband Bobby of Arkadelphia, AR and Sarah Ann and husband Alan of Ft. Worth, TX; fourteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, R.C. Mahan and Mae Easley Mahan; one brother, Carl Mahan and two sisters, Elizabeth Barnett and Evelyn Walters.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Fordyce. Visitation will be Saturday 6pm until 8pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services are 2:00 pm Sunday at the First United Methodist Church in Fordyce. Burial at Oakland Cemetery. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Thomas Leo Osborne

1917 - 2006
Thomas Leo Osborne, 88 of Fordyce, died Thursday, April 20, 2006 in an automobile accident along with his wife Susie Osborne.

He was born June 13, 1917 in McRae, Arkansas. He was a retired lumber grader for Fordyce Lumber Company, and a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was also a member of EM 363 Masonic Lodge, Barnett Chapter #451 Order of Eastern Star and a U.S. Navy World War II veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Isaac Osborne and Nettie Osborne Mertens, his stepfather, John Mertens; and a sister, Mary Ann Costello. He is survived by four sons, Richard and wife Carolyn of Irving, TX, Norman of Las Vegas, NV, David and wife Linda of Ashdown, AR, Paul and wife Mitzi of DeValls Bluff, AR; two daughters, Waynette and husband Bobby of Arkadelphia, AR, and Sarah Ann and husband Alan of Ft. Worth, TX; one brother, Charlie Wayne Osborne of Charleston, SC; two sisters, Ruth Osborne of Mayflower, AR and Irma Duch of Stuttgart, AR; fourteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
