The Easterling Family

This photo is of Joel Harrison & Averyilla (BROACH) EASTERLING,
and was taken from The Easterling Family Genealogy, a book in the possession of Reba Parks.
The EASTERLING Family all have ties to Dallas County, Ark., having lived there for many years, died there or immigrated there. Joel and Averyilla Easterling, came to Arkansas with her father, Charles Broach, by wagon in the spring of 1848. They were enticed by one of Martha (Green) Broach's relatives Col. John C. Green and having their son, Jones A. Broach, employed as a Farm & Slave Overseer for John, on some large acreage he owned in Dallas County; which later became part of Cleveland County, Ark.
Reba's husband is a great great grandson of Joel and Averyilla, via their daughter Amanda EASTERLING, who married Masters Jackson DANIELL.
