Hughes, Amber (Dailey)

LITTLE ROCK -- Amber Hughes, 85, of Little Rock, formerly of Sparkman, died Nov. 30, 2002 at her home. She was born Feb. 1, 1917 in Princeton, daughter of the late William and Susan Dailey. She was a homemaker and a member of Harmony Baptist Church at Sparkman.

Survivors include: Four sons, Rev. Henry Hughes of Warrensville Heights, Ohio, James Hughes and Willie Hughes of Little Rock and Jack Hughes of Sparkman; seven daughters, Mary Griffin of Cleveland, Ohio, Billie Jean Wesley and Betty Wilson of Milwaukee, Wis., and Brenda Parham, Malinda Harrison, Oleida Ingram and Kim Wesley of Little Rock; one brother, Jesse Dailey of Levelland, Texas; and 40 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Harmony Baptist Church at Sparkman with Rev. Kevin A. Kelley officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Community Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home.
