Funeral services for Glenn Earl Robinson, age 62, of Malvern, Ark., who died Sunday, April 27, 2008, at his residence will be held Saturday, May 3, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Mt Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Orlando Freeman, pastor officiating and Rev. Charles Dobbins, pastor of New Director Baptist Church as eulogist.

Burial will be in Perla Cemetery with Brandon’s Mortuary in charge of arrangements. 

Glenn Earl Robinson was born June 26, 1945, in Fordyce, Ark., to the parentage of Jesse Eugene Robinson and Bernice Rideout Blair. He was of the Baptist faith. Glenn Earl was a retired employee for the City of Malvern Street Department.  He was predeceased by his parents and his paternal grandparents, Jacob and Jewell Altora Rainey Robinson, Sr.

Survivors are his wife, Deloris Thompson Robinson of Malvern, Ark.; one son, Gregory Haynes of Hot Springs, Ark.; one daughter, Erika Wilburn-Campbell of Tampa, Fla.; two step-sons, Greg Thompson of Pine Bluff, Ark., and Lorenzo Thompson (Shaka) of Korea; one step-daughter, Lillian Williams of Hampton, Ark.; two brothers, Leo Shelton of Las Vegas, Nev., and Robert Quarles of Chapel Hill, Tenn.; two sisters, Thelma Edwards of Fordyce, Ark., and Alice Wiggins of Las Vegas, Nev.; one aunt, Arthur Jean Robinson of Little Rock, Ark., and one grandchild.

Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, May 2, 2008, from 5-7 p.m. in the chapel of Brandon’s Mortuary Malvern.  

The family will be at 632 Section Line Street, Malvern, AR.
