Ruby Emogene (Brashier) Scott, 82, of Malvern passed away Feb. 22, 2008. She was born July 30, 1925, in Sparkman, Ark., the daughter of Hardy E. and Verdina (Wilson) Brashier. She was a homemaker and a member of Meadowview Missionary Baptist Church. She was a caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Dallas and Robert Brashier and granddaughter, Erin C. Scott.
Survivors are her husband, R. A. Scott to whom she was married Nov. 4, 1946; son, Robert A. Scott; grandson, Will A. Scott and wife, Gina; great- grandchildren, Emma and Evan Scott, all of Malvern; brother, James Brashier and wife, Virginia of Sparkman; sister, Betty Stewart and husband, David of Gurdon, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 24 from 2-4 p.m. at Regency Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m., Monday, Feb. 25 at Delamar Cemetery near Dalark with Brother J.T. Harvel officiating.
