Paul Watkins, Jr.

On Tuesday, April 7, 2009, God called Paul Watkins, Jr. home. Bro. Watkins was born March 22, 1951 to the late Paul and Lubie Watkins.

Brother Watkins joined St. John Methodist Church at an early age. A few days before his homecoming, Brother Paul rededicated his life to the Lord.

Paul worked at Arkansas Forestry Commission for 34 years until his death. He was Outreach Coordinator for the last 7 years, President of Princeton-Tulip Water Board, he also served as a NCRS Board Member of Fordyce, Ark. for 17 years, and was given the 4-H Recognition Award for 2008.

He leaves to cherish in loving memories: his devoted wife of 36 years, Maxine Watkins of Princeton, son: Jason Paul Watkins II of Princeton, TX; daughter: Brenda Faye Juniel of Bearden; brothers: James Robert Watkins of Little Rock, and William Watkins of New Edinburg; sisters: (two preceded him in death): Alvernia Hawkins of Tulip, Louise Broomfield of Princeton, Eveline Juniel of Victorville, CA, Annie Pearl Davis of Arkadelphia, Bernice Nelson of Jacinto, and two Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Bradley Auditorium in Princeton by Superintendent E.B. Lea. Burial will be in Princeton Cemetery by Brown-Williams Funeral Home of Fordyce.

Visitation Friday from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
