Charles Randall Gilliam

Charles Randall Gilliam, 50, of Fordyce, died Thursday March 12, 2009 at the Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce. Mr. Gilliam was born in Warren, AR on July 9, 1958. He was retired from the Arkansas State Highway Department, and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Fordyce. Mr. Gilliam was a member of the CASA Advisory Council, a member of the Civitan Club, & a member of the Dallas County Medical Center Hospital Auxillary.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Gilliam of Fordyce, AR; his mother, Marcell Sessions of Fordyce, AR; three sons, Jeremy Gilliam of Little Rock, AR, Charles Randall Elijah Gilliam of Fordyce, AR, Sean Brooks & his wife Bonnie of Ft. Cambell, KY; a daughter, Jessica Young & her husband Michoal of Fordyce, AR; & five grandchildren. Mr. Gilliam was preceded in death by his father, Charles Franklin Gilliam.
Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Sunday March 15th, 2009 at the Ebenezer Cemetery with Pastors Johnnie & Kay Childs Travis officiating. A celebration of Randy’s life will follow immediately after the graveside service at the First Presbyterian Church in Fordyce. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 pm Saturday evening at the funeral home in Fordyce. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
