Annie Pearl Briggs Harrison, 52, of Sparkman, died Wednesday, March 4, 2009 in Baptist Health Medical Center, Little Rock.  She was born July 2, 1956 to Patsy Cooks and Willie Briggs in Hope.


She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She graduated from Sparkman High School and was an employee of Danfoss.


She was preceded in death by her father Willie Briggs, and step-father John Butler.


She is survived by  two sons; Corey Cooks of Killeen, Texas, and Chris Harrison of Arkadelphia; four grandchildren, Mya Hatley, Trinity Harrison, Corey Cooks II., and Daniya Harrison; her mother, Pasty L. Butler of Arkadelphia; two brothers, Carl Cooks of Arkadelphia and Larry Cooks of Hope; stepsisters, Carolyn Williams of Modesto, Calif., Felicia Roberts and Alleashia Thomas of Atwater, Calif., and Charlotte Marcella of Mercedes, Calif.


Funeral will be held Saturday, March 14, at 10 a.m. in Harmony Baptist Church with Dr. Jesse Lee Radford officiating. Burial in Harmony Community Cemetery by Williams Funeral Home, Inc.


Visitation will be Friday in the funeral home, 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and in St. Paul AME Church 6-7 p.m.


Pallbearers will be Brad Johnson, Issac Perry, Carlton Lawyer, Sonnie Giles, Lemonte Moore and Carlos Wright.


Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Hatley, Briant Brown, Henry Lee Giles, Horace Carter, and Ray Butler.
