John T. Mason
I photographed this Woodman of the World marker at the Old Florence Church Cemetery in August 2009. The cemetery is located in the pasture of John Parker in the Pine Hill community near Selma. This is the headstone of John T. Mason, a member of the Old Florence Presbyterian Church. There is supposed to be a slave cemetery outside the white cemetery, but the graves were never marked. The church disbanded in the 1930�s, and the cemetery is overgrown
