LAST WILL & TESTAMENT AND PROBATE RECORDS FOR JAMES L. ERWIN

State of Mississippi, County of Marshall and State of Arkansas, Drew County: Will Filed Drew County, Arkansas Aug. 26, 1858
The State of Mississippi Marshall County, June 9th 1851. Know all men by these presents that I James L. Erwin of the State and County aforesaid of sound mind by infirm body make this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills I do hereby appoint my Brother George W. Erwin and my Wife Margaret J. Erwin as my Executors and Guardians for my children for them to have and to hold all my property both personal and real and manage the same as they may think best for the benefit of my chldren and it is my wish that my above named Executors shall educate each one of my children as well as the property will admit and for them to divide the same equally between my children and my wife as my children may marry or become of age as the said Executors may think best and it is my will that should my above named Executors think it to be to the advantage of my wife and children to sell any of my property either personal or real they are hereby authorized to do the same. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the day and date above written. Wit: L. Robinson, W. W. Howell, J. A. Erwin, Jas Erwin. The State of Mississippi, Marshall County I, John Truesdale, of said county certify that the within is a full and true copy of the Last Will and Testament of James L. Erwin deceased and the same appears on file and of record my office. Given under my hand and the seal of said court of office the 19th day of March 1858. State of Mississippi, County of Marshall I. C. H. Mott, Judge of/for said county and state do hereby certify that John Truesdale whose genuine signature appears to the foregoing certificate is and was at the date thereof clerk of said court duly elected, qualified and commissioned that his said certificate is in due form of law and that all of his acts in the premises are entitled to full faith and credit. LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF W. E. ERWIN

Know all men by these presents, that I, W. E. Erwin of the County State of Arkansas, do hereby will my entire estate consisting of all Real Estate and personal property to the said J. L. Erwin at my death. Dated this 11th day of July 1924. Signed ... W. E. Erwin Witness: Fred Spence & F. M. Barnett Subscribed and sworn to before me this 11th day of July 1924. Signed: J. R.
