Mrs. Marguerite Blanks Shaw, 1903 College Avenue, widow of George G. Shaw, died today (April 14, 1981) at her home.

A graveside service by McNutt Funeral Home will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Oak Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Beal officiating.

Mrs. Marguerite Blanks Shaw, 1903 College Avenue, widow of George G. Shaw, died Tuesday (April 14, 1981) at her home.

Mrs. Shaw was a housewife, a member of PEO, First United Methodist Church and active in several civic organizations.

She was born at Hamburg (Ashley Co.), a daughter of Jack Bruce and Sheb Saddler Blanks.

Survivors are a son, George Shaw of Norman, Okla.; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia S. Hoy of Dallas, Tex., and Mrs. Anne Couch of Shreveport, La.; a brother, Jack Blanks of Bastrop, La.; a sister, Mrs. Kathleen Adkisson of Conway; ten grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

A graveside service by McNutt Funeral Home will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Oak Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Beal officiating.

Pallbearers will be Stuart Couch, Doug, Jeff, and Mark Hoy, Scott Shaw, and Sam, Richard, and Sam Adkisson III.
