J.T. SHAW, 69, RETIRED ROAD WORKER, DIES

J.T. (Red) Shaw, 69, of North Little Rock, retired employee of the Arkansas Highway Department, died Friday (Sept. 11, 1964).

He was a Baptist, a member of the American Legion and 40 et 8 and a veteran of WWI.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mae Barron Shaw, two sons, James T. Shaw of Little Rock and Kenneth Shaw of North Little Rock; a daughter, Mrs. Morene W. Scherz of North Little Rock, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral was held Saturday at Griffin-Legget Chapel in Little Rock by the Rev. C.J. Shaw. Burial was at New Liberty Cemetery east of Conway.

MRS. SHAW, 75, DIES, BURIAL AT NEW LIBERTY

Mrs. Hallie Mae Barron Shaw, 75, of 1575 Maple St., North Little Rock, died Tuesday (July 24, 1973) in Memorial Hospital in North Little Rock. She was the widow of J.T. Shaw.

Mrs. Shaw was a Baptist.

Surviving are two sons, Lloyd Kenneth Shaw of North Little Rock and James Thurman Shaw of San Antonio, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Morene Scherz of North Little Rock; a brother, W.T. Barron of Jacksonville; 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Rest Hills Chapel in North Little Rock. Burial will be at New Liberty Cemetery east of Conway.
