Lowe's Creek Cemetery

Thanks to Bob and Zelda Dubel

Franklin Co, AR.  Picture of gate taken 1977.   Picture of Mina (Green) Clayton and grave of mother, taken 1949.  Her mother was Julia (Brehe) Green (1867-1900), wife of James Barney Green.  Also buried there are 2 infant children of Julia and James: Alvina Green (b & d 1890) and Zeno Green (b & d 1897).    Also probably buried in the cemetery is infant child of Henry Brehe and wife Wilhelmina (Eiserman) Brehe: Sophie Brehe (b & d ca 1879--between 1879 and 1886).

OK, looks good. Also Lowe's Creek just arrived. Lynne has sent four cemeteries so far today, so I will be busy, but think can get all up today. Thanks a bunch.

Julia Brehe Green 1867-1900 and family

This is Alvina

Henry Brehe, head of household, b 1843 Germany, in 1880 would be 37.

Wilhelmina (Mina), wife, b 1844 MO, in 1880 would be 36.

Julia, b 1867 MO, in 1880 would be 13.

Alvina (Vina), b 1868 MO, in 1880 would be 12.

Alex, b 1870 MO, in 1880 would be 10.

August (Gus), b 1876 MO, in 1880 would be 4.

Julius, b 1878 MO, in 1880 would be 2.

Later, had son Adolph b 1887 in Sub Rosa, AR.

A baby Sophia was born between 1879 and 1886 and died at birth and is believed buried at Lowes Creek Cem., Franklin Co, AR.

I searched at familysearch.org for all these names and found nothing except Julius was on the Soc. Sec. Death Index, but nobody was on the 1880 census.  Maybe they got skipped.  They should have been in Sub Rosa, Franklin Co, AR for sure because he first acquired a homestead in Sept. 1880 and moved onto the land in Nov. 1880.

Thanks again for your good idea.  Zelda.

This is Adolph in 1900
