    SUBJECT: WISDOM, WILLIAMS, HICKS
I need the parents and any other information on Jasper WISDOM b ca1828 TN. Married Rachel WILLIAMS 1859 in Franklin Co. Rachel's mother married a Mr. HICKS as her step brother, ? Hicks, stood up for them. They lived around the Ozark area. He was in the CW, KS Inf. They moved to Sebastian Co around mid-late 1870s, he died 1885. She moved to Polk Co then Heavener, OK and died 1915. Several of their children were married in Franklin Co. Is there a possibility that William and Lucy (Robertson) Wisdom were his parents? I can't find a real connection but they had a "child" in 1828 that remained unidentified. I can't find him in any 1850 census. William and Lucy were in Hardin Co., TN from 1821 moving to Franklin Co 1851. Any help appreciated, Ginger [waygin@sprynet.com]

    SUBJECT: WEBBER
I am looking for any info on Nicholas WEBBER and his line he appears in the 1880 census of Washington county in the Baden/ Vineyard township. He had the following children Lewis B.1861 John B. 1865 (MO.), Mary B. 1867, Margaret B. 1872, Fannie Etta B. 1877 in Dutch Mills (My ggrandmother), Jane B. 1879. His wife does not appear on this census so I assume she is dead by this time, he was supposed to be the blacksmith in Baden at this time, and the census record bears this out. Him and his wife were both born in Germany, so I have no way of knowing when he first came to ARK. Family tradition has it that he was related to the Webbers which founder Webbers Falls OK, but I have not proven that yet. Anybody with any info on this line would be greatly appreciated and I will provide anyone interested with any info I have, as scant as it is. thanks J. Cook

    CROSSNOE/CROSSNO/CROSNOE/CROSNO
I am doing research on the CROSSNOE/CROSSNO/CROSNOE/CROSNO/ CROSNOW family tree. All Crossnoe's of whatever spelling are believed to have originated with George Crossnore, an immigrant, who migrated with his family from N. Caroline across Tennessee. Most settled in middle and western Tenn., but some continued to migrate to Arkansas, Missouri, and Mississippi. I would like to share information with anyone related to, or with information about this family. I will respond to all inquiries. Most of the Crossnoe's I know of in Arkansas were in Franklin Co., but could be anywhere...they were movers! Thank You.
