Old Barker Cemetery
Surveyed by Della J. (Sanders) Glenn. To get to the old Barker Cemetery at Viola, Fulton county, Arkansas, go south out of Viola on 223 Hwy about a mile or so to the curve at the top of the big hill. Go through the gate on the north (right) side of the road. The cemetery will be just ahead of you at that point. There are several infants buried there and some of the stones were close to unreadable.

Note submitted by Susan Tate. I just wanted to send you a correction for the listing of my great great grandfather buried in Barker Cemetery: John Spragins Jenkins, May 15, 1844 - July 21, 1935. His mother Jane, wife of John Jenkins, her maiden name was Proctor.
