Bruce E. Mortimer, 59, of North Little Rock passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009. He was a truck driver, a 32nd degree Mason, a member of Maumelle First Baptist Church and the Lacy Hill Hunting Club.
He is survived by his wife, of 25 years, Brenda Mortimer, of North Little Rock; two sisters, Linda and husband, James Allen, of Sheridan and Donna Mortimer, of Nebraska; father and mother-in-law, O.L. and Laverne Mann of North Little Rock; sister-in-law, Barbara Coosenberry and her husband, Ronald, of North Little Rock; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Mortimer and Leona Summerhayes; and a nephew, Brian Fleming.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
