Hooker Switch

I have  information pertaining to my family The Hookers.  My dad, Fred Hooker was born and raised in the Lafe area. His parents were Ed and Effie Hooker. John W. Hooker, owner of Hooker's Saw Mill was Ed's uncle, my great-great uncle.  I was able to find several family members' marriage information as well as the fun 1891 business advertisement which includes Hooker's Saw Mill.  The sawmill was beside the Helena Branch of the St. Louis-Iron Mountain Railroad and the spot (I took the attached photo 16 years ago) became a flag-station known as "Hooker Switch."
